Us is a private daily diary and scrapbook for two people, made by Petalform LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what data the Us app collects, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. We built Us to be private by default: there is no public feed, and your entries are visible only to you and the partner you invite, except for a page you choose to publish with a share link.

We collect only what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, or content from other apps. Our diagnostics and analytics are configured to strip personal content and identifiers such as message text, names, and email addresses before events are recorded.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use a small number of service providers who process data only on our behalf, under contract:

Us is built for two people. Content you save to a shared space is visible to the partner you invite. If you publish a scrapbook page and share its link, anyone who has that link can view that page until you unpublish it. Everything else stays between the two of you.
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored data is restricted, and each account can read only its own records.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and entries from our systems, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights. Write to us and we will help.
Us is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
