1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and PetalForm LLC. By downloading or using Micro Journal, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License and acceptable use
PetalForm grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control as permitted by the applicable store rules.
You may not reverse engineer the app except where law permits, interfere with its operation, misuse store billing, or use it unlawfully.
3. Local data and backups
Your journal entries stay on your device. You are responsible for protecting your device and making available exports or backups. PetalForm cannot recover content that is erased, corrupted, or lost with the device.
4. One-time purchase
The optional $1.99 one-time Export & Backup unlock is a non-consumable digital purchase processed by Apple or Google. Displayed prices may vary by region, currency, tax, or store policy. A successful purchase may be restored on eligible devices using the same store account.
Billing, refunds, chargebacks, family sharing, and purchase eligibility are controlled by the store. Contact Apple or Google for refund requests, then contact PetalForm if the app does not recognize a valid entitlement.
5. Important disclaimer
Micro Journal is a personal writing tool, not medical, mental-health, or emergency advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make and should seek a qualified professional when appropriate.
6. Availability and warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PetalForm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from the app. PetalForm’s aggregate liability relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months or US $10. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
8. Changes and contact
We may update the app or these terms, and may discontinue the app where permitted. You may stop using it at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
