Future Me

Terms of Use

Effective September 15, 2026

By downloading or using Future Me, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They are meant to be plain.

The app

Future Me lets you write letters to your future self, seal them until a date you choose, and read them when they open. Letters are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device and its backups safe. If you lose your device, reset it, or delete the app, your letters may be lost, and we cannot recover them.

Your content

Your letters and photos are yours. We do not claim any ownership of them, and because they never leave your device, we have no access to them. You are responsible for what you write and for having the right to use any photos you add.

Future Me Plus

Some features are part of a paid subscription, Future Me Plus, sold through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Prices are shown before you buy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Future Me to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights, and do not attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

No warranty

Future Me is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a reminder will always fire exactly on time, or that data on your device will never be lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost letters or other damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
