Future Me is built to keep your letters private. It has no accounts and no server that stores your writing. What you write stays on your phone.
We do not collect, transmit, or store the content of your letters, your photos, your unlock dates, your contacts, your location, or any account information. There is no sign in, so we do not have a profile for you.
Everything you create in Future Me is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard app storage. If you delete the app, or use the in‑app "Erase all letters" control, that data is gone. Because it lives only on your device, we cannot recover it for you, and it does not sync to other devices.
When you allow notifications, Future Me schedules a local reminder on your device for the day a letter unlocks. These reminders are created and delivered by your phone. No notification is sent from a server, and no push token is shared with us.
If you buy Future Me Plus, the purchase is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play and their payments provider (RevenueCat). We do not see or store your payment details. Those services process the transaction and tell the app whether Plus is active. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
The app may include optional crash reporting and anonymous usage analytics to help us fix problems and improve the experience. These never include the content of your letters. Where required, they are off unless you turn them on, and you can change this at any time in the app's Privacy settings.
Future Me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and post the new version at this address.
