These terms govern your use of the Closer mobile app ("Closer"), provided by Petalform LLC ("we", "us"). By using Closer you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Closer is (and isn't)

Closer is a tool for tracking savings goals using amounts you enter yourself. Closer is not a bank, does not hold, move or invest money, and does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Estimates such as completion dates or suggested monthly amounts are approximate illustrations based on your inputs, not guarantees or recommendations.

Your data and your device

Closer has no accounts. Everything you add is stored only on your device, and we have no copy of it. You are responsible for your device and its backups: if you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, your data cannot be recovered. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Closer.

Your content

You own the wishes, notes, photos and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the app to you. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is unlawful.

Closer Plus subscriptions

• Closer Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or annually at the price shown in the app.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Erasing your Closer data or deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Closer: for example, don't try to access other people's data, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to break the law.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will try to give notice of significant changes. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

Termination

You can stop using Closer and erase your data at any time (Profile → Erase all data). We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Disclaimers

Closer is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petalform LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or savings, arising from your use of Closer. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Closer in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

App stores

If you downloaded Closer from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Downloads from Google Play are also subject to Google Play's terms.
