Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Petalform LLC ("we", "us") handles information in the Closer mobile app ("Closer" or "the app") for iOS and Android. Closer helps you track money you set aside for things you want. Closer does not connect to your bank, and it never holds, moves or invests money. Amounts in the app are numbers you enter yourself.
Your wishes stay on your device
Closer has no accounts and no sign-in. Everything you create in the app (wish names, target amounts, savings entries, dates, notes, categories, priorities, product links, photos and your preferences) is stored only on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to this content.
Because your data lives on your device, it is included in your device's own backups (iCloud backup on iOS, Google backup on Android) if you have them turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. If you delete the app without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by us.
Information that leaves your device

None of this is linked to your name or email, which we do not collect. We do not collect your contacts, location, bank information or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Photos and product links
If you add a photo, it is resized and saved on your device; it is never uploaded to us. You can use the system photo picker without giving Closer access to your whole photo library. If you paste a product link, the app fetches that public web page (and its image) directly from your device to suggest a name, price and image; you always confirm or edit the result. That website will see an ordinary request from your device.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device and only appear if you allow notifications. You can change or turn them off in the app or in your device settings.
Service providers
We use these providers. They process the limited information above only on our behalf:
- RevenueCat: manages Closer Plus subscriptions and restores purchases.
- PostHog: product analytics (only if analytics is on).
- Sentry: crash and error reporting.
- Apple and Google: in-app purchases, app distribution and device backups, under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Security
Your content is protected by your device's own security (passcode, encryption and app sandboxing). Information sent to our providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Export your data: Profile → Privacy & data → Export my data.
- Turn off analytics: Profile → Privacy & data.
- Delete your data: Profile → Erase all data permanently deletes every wish, photo and savings entry from your device. Deleting the app also deletes its data (except copies in your own device backups).
- Erasing your data does not cancel a Closer Plus subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
- Because analytics and crash reports are anonymous, we generally can't link them to you. If you'd like us to try to delete them, email petalformllc@gmail.com.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.
Children
Closer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
