Common questions
- Do I need an account? No. Ownode has no accounts. You pair your
computer by scanning a code, and that is the whole setup.
- Does Ownode work without internet? Yes. On your own Wi-Fi, your
phone talks to your computer directly and nothing passes through our servers.
- Can you read my conversations? No. They are encrypted between your
phone and your computer, and we hold no key that could decrypt them.
- Where is my history stored? Only on your iPhone. Deleting the app
deletes it.
