Privacy Policy

The short version: Jobwrit keeps your jobsite records on your device. There is no Jobwrit account and no Jobwrit server that stores your reports, photos, projects, crew, or captions. Jobwrit contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking. You decide when to share a PDF or backup.
Who we are
Jobwrit is published by Petalform LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@petalform.com.
What stays on your device
All of your content is stored locally on your phone and is never transmitted to us:
- Projects, reports, timeline entries, crew, and equipment (a local database)
- Jobsite photos, signatures, and generated PDFs (app-private storage)
- Your company profile, logo, and app settings
What leaves your device
Only what is needed to sell and verify the optional Pro upgrade:
- Apple App Store / Google Play process payments under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details.
- RevenueCat (our purchase-management provider) receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase and subscription status, and basic device information (such as OS version and country) so it can validate purchases and let you restore them. It does not receive your reports, photos, or any project content. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across apps or websites.
Sharing you start
When you export a PDF, photo, or backup, it is handed to your device’s share sheet. Where it goes next (email, messages, cloud storage) is your choice and is governed by that service.
Permissions (requested only when used)
- Camera — to take jobsite photos.
- Photo library — to import photos or your logo, and to save exports if you choose.
- Notifications — only if you turn on the optional end-of-day reminder. Reminders are scheduled on the device.
You can deny or revoke any of these in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
Retention and deletion
Because your content lives only on your device, you control it completely: delete a report or project in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all of its data. Export a backup first if you want to keep it. We hold no copy to delete. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat as their policies and the law require.
Children
Jobwrit is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
